Most people's blogs have specific purposes but as you can see from the title, mine doesn't. I just needed a place to write on "whatever" I want.

A Nice Little Surprise
When you see people you love in unexpected places it causes you to appreciate them more. Weird how that works sometimes. I was meeting with someone at Starbucks in Southtown this morning. When I finished up I wanted to run over to Target to pick up a few things (mainly my go-to fingernail clippers that someone in the family lost - I will protect their identity but hint hint...she is way too old to be losing things!). So I park my car at Target and as I'm walking towards the front doors I notice a familiar looking woman walking with three beautiful girls. The combination of my poor eye sight and not expecting to see the MIler girls caused a delayed realization that this was my family. My girls decided to walk to Rainbow (although I just realized Gretchen had a Cub bag. I wonder if grocery stores look down on that like if I brought a Starbucks latte into a Caribou or an Arby's roast beef sandwich into a McDonalds?) today and were beginning their walk home. I guess I somewhat rescued Gretchen because the girls were already complaining about the walk home. I don't really blame them since it is about 2 miles from our house. So Ponsi ran into Target with me while the others sat outside Target on a bench and I then gave them a ride home. I don't usually run into the girls out in public when they are doing whatever I read about them doing on Gretchen's blog but I realized once again today how blessed I am.

those poor little girls...i can't believe their mother makes them walk two miles to target...those poor little legs...
I'm actually proud of their mother for having them walk! Its good for their legs, for the environment, Jamie's wallet, their teeth (I don't know, why not?)...and etc.! Now Gretchen just needs a bike!
I am starting to crave having a "bike" as in motorcycle.
