Happy Fourth & Fried Bread

Happy Fourth of July everyone! I have had a great week in Ohio. Can't believe today is the last day. Well, the last day for Gretchen, Macie, and me. The other two rats are staying for an extra week. Random things we have done: I have been to a Reds game with my old man, had a Consumed BBQ on Tuesday Night (pics on the Consumed site are coming), lunch at Minelli's with Dolly & Ray, fireworks in downtown Columbus, and today we are heading over to my sister's for two of my nephew's birthday parties. DJ and I are going to try and win back our Euchre belts today. We also have a "special treat" (as Gretchen would say) today. Mark, Tara Root Chapman, and the kids came home a day early so we will see them today as well.

Although I am sure Gretchen will post multiple pics on her site, here are a few from the week. Oh yeah, the picture above is of fried bread. Although Dr. Jeff Algajer does not approve of bread, let alone bread fried in a stick of butter, this is honestly one of my favorite foods on the face of the planet. Thanks mom!
