It has been a good run but it was time for the facial hair to go. Since 1999 my chin has only felt fresh air once. In a moment of weakness in 2001 I shaved it off. The night I shaved I went to Blockbuster and ran into my good buddy Cliff. He laughed uncontrollably and kept saying to the Blockbuster employees to watch me and make sure I don't rent Rated R movies since I was under 18. After that ridicule I immediately grew it back.
This time I think I will try and make it last a little longer. I got out of the shower this morning and thought, "I'm going to shave it off right now." I grabbed my trimmers and clipped away immediately before I had second thoughts. When I walked out of the bathroom Gretchen peered at me for a while and said she will need a week to decide if she likes it or not. The girls screamed and Ponsi said "Ooooo...Daddy looks weird". They have never seen their daddy without hair on his face. So who knows...maybe it will only stay off for a short season or maybe not. I guess I will wait for my wife's one week judgment call.

Gretchen just said the other day that you were thinking about shaving it off, who knew you'd actually do it! On the bright side, you don't look 18 like Cliff thought you did... and NO... that does NOT mean you look old now! (WHICH is still not what I meant the other night about my comment on your wedding picture)
wow...it's been four straight days of blogging. Congrats. Are you icing your fingers at night?
You do look young : ). I was going to say something else but I wouldn't want it to get taken in the wrong way : ). It was funny but some people could think it was bad. Blah Blah Blah!
