Random

It has been a month since my last post so I thought I would take a few moments to list some random things:

Yesterday I roofed (pronounced like a dog making a noise by the way) in the rain. Very interesting project to do in the rain. But everyone is still alive. Heading back there in a few minutes.

I'm freaking 34 years old today. If I were a professional athlete my career would either be on the serious downside or I would already be retired. Good thing that NBA or NFL thing didn't work out. And I still think Rob's post about his birthday is one of the most depressing blog posts ever written.

I received a text last night from my good old mother-in-law Pat at 10:53. The text said she was at Relay for Life praying and thinking about my sister. That really meant a lot to me.

Macie owns me. I woke up this morning to her next to me...laying on her side with her hands tucked underneath that cute little fat face of hers. I could have laid there for hours.

I just read Psalm 29 and I again am blown away by the power and majesty of God.

The Cincinnati Reds are over .500 and it is June.

I just finished a bowl of Banana Nut Cheerios and I still love them despite the hatred inflicted upon them by my friends and family.

I'm very much looking forward to a trip next week that will land my family and me in Ohio, PA, and NY with a 2-3 day trip to Washington D.C. as well. It will be really good to see old friends and family.

That's it for now. Got to go roof.

What a special day. Especially the part about Macie. That was special to hear your mother-in-law was at the Relay for Life praying for Penny. It is so special to know that people all over the country and world are praying for her.

Can't wait to see you and your family in a few weeks. Glad you had a great birthday. You are still younger than me. Had I been in professional sports I would probably be up for the Hall of Fame right now.

God Bless,
Karen

I love your mother in law. I love your sister Penny. I LOVE your adorable baby with the sweetest face on the planet. What a wonderful life. I turned 33 this year and it does feel ridiculously old. I am glad you are older now. That makes me feel much better! Still haven't tried bannana nut cheerios but I want to. I did try (for the one millionth time) bananna ice cream and that is delectable just in case you wondered! : )

You have no idea who I am. I grew up with the Staffords (and perhaps you know my brother Mark Blanchard)which is how I know who you are.

Anyway, I ran into your blog last night and it sucked me in.

I am here to tell you that I LOVE Banana Nut Cheerios. You are not alone. they are the greatest invention EVER!
