Quote

Since Eric promised a quote for the week but stopped after the 2nd week, I will try and pick up his slack. This one really resonated with me. I find myself at times serving the slave of production and business as well. I don't want to end up in the valley of "dry bones".

“We preach peace and radiate restlessness. The faith is refuted by the incredibility of those who proclaim it. We are perpetual producers, worshipping the god of production, which is why the valley of dry bones spreads all around us .” from Encounter with Spurgeon

I was very clear in my endeavor that it may not be every week. For someone who gives such a hard time to those who are critical of posting frequency, I'm a little shocked. But at least now I have ammo for when you start slacking off on your blog.

From the blog entitled "For the Masses" by Eric Beavers written on June 10, 2008:

"So, I've decided I'm going to bring this fun (quote of the day) to my blog. It definitely won't occur every single day. In fact, you (the reader) may want to settle into once a week or so. :)"

I guess you can use the "or so" phrase as your excuse.

easy boys...be nice.

It is a great and scarily true quote--even written so many years ago. A challenge to radiate peace and to be a credible proclaimer of my faith.
